"Photo Gallery" Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Greats "Doo Wop Cavalcade"

March 3, 2012  Greats from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame joined together with their friends for a magical evening of music and memories. Memories make great gifts.  Three all star legendary Doo Wop artists preformed an unforgettable evening at the Jean Carlo Stephenson Auditorium.

The Chiffons, formed while the girls were still in high school, were one of the fabulous Sixties girl groups. Their hits include “Tonight's the Night.", "He's So Fine,", "One Fine Day" and "A Love So Fine," and "Sweet Talkin' Guy".

In 1965 a classical finger exercise from Bach with a Motown bass line gave birth to the million seller hit "A Lover’s Concerto" by The Toys. This was followed by “Attack”. The voice singing lead was that of Ms. Barbara Harris. Harris also sang one of the background parts in the harmony.

The Coasters with hits as “Yakety Yak”, “Charlie Brown” “Young Blood” “Along Came Jones” and “Searchin” are labeled “The Clown Princes of Rock and Roll.” are certainly unique. The Coasters were among the first inductees in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
