Children's Art Festival Extravaganza "Photo Gallery"

Downtown Live, a committee of the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce. This year's event is presented by the Chamber, Cabell-Huntington Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District. CAFE is a free event featuring various projects for children to create art.

CAFE (Creative Arts Funding Endeavor) Huntington event "Photo Gallery"

A record crowd attended the monthly CAFE (Creative Arts Funding Endeavor) Huntington event last night at the Cabell County Public Library. More than 70 people watched as representatives from three different creative-arts based organizations presented five-minute platforms in order to win a micro-grant. The May 2012 grant totaled $720, another record. The presenters were Jeslyn Performing Arts Center,  ShineOn! Studios, and the Huntington Symphony Orchestra for the annual Picnic with the Pops event. Winning the micro-grant was ShineOn! Studios, who will use the money to further benefit their goal of furthering a musical interest while supporting children with disabilities as well as children from low-income homes.
