Huntington's 6th Annual Turkey Trot 2012 "Photo & Video Gallery"

Huntington's 6th Annual Turkey Trot Thursday, November 22, 2012 at 9:00 am. The race started at the Ritter Park picnic shelter and winds its way through the park to the Memorial Arch at 7th Street West. All proceeds from the registration fees benefit Little Victories No-kill animal shelter.

WKEE's Trick or Treat with Batman at Pullman Square "Photo Gallery"

The Dark Knight himself was on hand as well as the fine businesses at Pullman Square handed out candy and other treats! Scary music was playing throughout the night, plus, and a costume contest!

In addition to the caped crusader, several of WKEE's favorite radio stars dressed in the coolest superhero Halloween costumes!

Huntington High School Homecoming Parade 2012 "Photo Gallery"

Huntington High School is celebrating its Homecoming Weekend with a special Homecoming Parade Thursday, October 25, 2012 it began at 6:00 PM in Downtown Huntington.

The parade featured approximately 20 entries (including floats), featuring student activity groups, cheerleaders, and the Huntington High School Marching Highlanders. Retired NFL and former Marshall University football player Troy Brown served as the Grand Marshall. The route began at the Greyhound Bus Station on 12th Street, proceeds down 4th Avenue to turn onto 7th Street, and ends at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.

This was the first Homecoming Parade Huntington High School has conducted in recent years, and students and staff are excited about re-introducing what they hope becomes an annual tradition.
